Resolved

Didn't need power in the end. The resler's module and USB bus power was sufficient.

Took the panel off in the boot, LHS covering NAV and TV modules. Seemed to be easiest way to get in. The DVD module will slide out if you push the four pins in each corner of the rack in together - push hard - and slide the module out. Removed the DVD player for NAV, and removed the blue connector

Soldered the wires shown in the attached pic (one for connecting to car's GROUND and one for IBUS), and put the ends into pins 3 and 10 on the blue NAV connector. I'm connected to iBUS

Obviously this means I can now change anything that is NOT NAV (as it is disconnected). I wanted access to TV and VOICE, so this is fine...

Just used the 3D Perspective Hidden menu. Good. Now to upgrade my NAV to 4-1/91 (v29 from current v28)

I think I'll give the Speed camera POI DB a go.
