Useless to have it ??? I dont agree with that. The DST & timezone "map" is location-sensitive, and is aware which state do/do not participate. DST is even present in Europe (at least in UK, can not speak for the rest of the Europe).

In any case, my $20 cell phone changed its time yesterday automagically (as it got a signal from Verizon), it beats me as to why BMW did not introduce it, especially the one with the Navigation system, which gives it precise location and time signal from the satellites.
