Even if you speak fluent Russian, if she will be living in the USA, she will obviously need to learn English (or at least the variant they speak in Wisconsin). My son's best friend is Russian; his family came over 6 years ago. The dad speaks good English and gets along great. The mom is shy and has been reluctant to try speaking English in stores, etc, so she is still more reclusive, sticking to Russian friends and watching Russian movies.
