There are no gadgets or anything else that will help except the common sense options we all have. There is also the option of driving less/combining trips/ and using public transportation.

Believe it or not part of the high cost of fuel is based on demand. So..... to get the upper hand, a collective decrease in demand will cause the price to go down.

Problem is, getting enough people to board that train is next to impossible.
