anyone else with all-season 20s?

The summer performance tires are notorious for being bad in the snow, but what if all-season 20s are used instead? Tirerack has the michelin latitude tours which are rated pretty good even in light snow. Is there any reason the staggered/wide 20s will have problems regardless of the tires used? I'm sure it's not as good as regular 18s but I'd like to hear experiences with the all-season 20s in the snow.
