OK, new rule. I propose that suspension length should be based on WHO you're actually stomping/cross-checking. If the victim is a "nice" guy, should be a very long suspension. On the other hand, if the guy on the receiving end is an @$$hole himself, no suspension! So when Chris Simon decked Ryan Hollweg with his stick, should have been zero games suspension, since Hollweg is a dick also.

Also, all slashes and spearing against Sean Avery and Todd Bertuzzi should be rewarded with incentive clauses. Likewise, any skate stomping against a super nice guy (say Teemu Selanne): 2 year suspension.
