Correct, since my car did not have any pre-wire I used the only thing that was there, the radio module, this is the big black conecter block that you can see, and sits in series between the radio and loom, this way it works like any other phone kit.
If however, you have the x400 white power block then the Ambishop loom is definatly the best way to go, as it will be plug n play, (not blowing Ambishop trumpet, but his stuff really is very good).

You are correct, and I know that you are looking for the white x400 power block, i was just saying that if the block was not there (and it may not be) then you have other options to install OEM BT in your car.
