I think the last time I synced my iPod I used it as a HD to upload my Outlook contacts. My PC is recognizing that the iPod is attached and opens up the iPod's HD as if it's just a removable drive. iTunes tells me that the software needed to communicate with my iPod is not installed properly and instructs me to reinstall iTunes but I just did the installation successfully. What gives? |
iTune also has updates for the iPod as well. Make sure yours is up to date. In review not only must you install iTunes update but the iPod updater as well. I had to do that within the last week. iPod updater is dated 9/6/2005
