There certainly is no shortage in part numbers for an MKIV. On eBay you'll often find the oldest ones, the 182s, everywhere for sale. My question is, does it matter if I get the oldest or the newest? Don't they all run the same software? What's the difference between these maybe 10-15 different part numbers?
