I have an IPOD and simply cannot find enough songs that I like to listen too that would fill it up. I struggle to even use up 500MB and thats without going overboard on the file size per song.
Given that the IPOD connection was going to cost me AUD$800+ to have it installed I tried copying my MP3s to a CDR/W and played that in the X5 - even then I couldn't fill up the full capacity of the CD.
I am very happy with this solution. The song names still come up on the screen, the sound quality is identical and I didnt have to sacrafice the CD changer for the IPOD connection.
My advice is that unless you need to use an IPOD or need to connect other storage device which contain your compressed audio files, I would recommend burning CDR/Ws with your songs and throwing them into the CD changer.
