V1 in my opinion is best for radar detecting, regarding laser, well, it makes no difference. Most of the time by the time you get a warning a cop will already have a reading on your speed and even if you press your brakes, it will be too late.

Cops usually shoot laser at your plate or your headlight when plate is not present, the larger the vehicle/reflective surface, the quicker and more accurate the reading will be. My V1 is placed all the way by the upper windshield which means, a cop is not likely to shoot there.

The best option to be protected from laser radar is to have a laser jammer such as lidar, K40 laser jammer and similar devices. Google them all, as well as search for test videos on youtube

I only have a front laser, but usually its suggested to have a rear laser protection as well since a cop can stand on a bridge or similar and shoot at rear of people's cars then radio another one ahead to pull you over.
