And exactly how does one assure themself that the coast is clear? The purpose of radar/laser detector/jammer is for unexpected and unforseen circumstances. In my case, I spend a considerable amount of time traveling...if convenient, I prefer to drive the X...sometimes this requires that I cover ground as fast as possible (without breaking the law). However, some-of-the-times, I like to open her throttle a bit for my own satisfaction, so it's times like these when the subject matter is most relevant.

Again, I was not speeding along, just happened to get caught whilst trying to maneuver away from an extremely slow-moving construction tractor.
