You obviously aren't reading all comments...my comments were quoting Quicksilver. Simply put, the reason
I purchase the subject matter is for the unexpected. The unexpected being lurking troopers etc...radar/laser detectors somewhat negate my concern of the unexpected and unforseen. Why else does one purchase such products? This is the point I was making concerning my disagreement with Quicksilver...

the bottom line is that you chose to speed because you have a "finely tuned machine", you got caught, you got a ticket. That's uh, pretty expected in my book.
If you do the crime, you have to do the time. It's as simple as that. It's not the LEO's fault, they were just doing their job. If you weren't speeding, guess what? no unexpected meeting with a LEO and no ticket
So in response to your "any suggestions" question, yes, I have one.
Stop speeding.
If you want to see what your "finely tuned machine" can do, go to the track,or if you're going to open it up on a public road, you have be prepared to deal with the consequences, i.e. a ticket.
carry on.
