According to a quick web search, the Sport Package included the Sport AG package. It was simply an order code, and included Sport Suspension, Sport Seats, different wheels, anthracite headliner, shadowline trim, and a sport 3 spoke steering wheel. Sport AG had no cost, but was built into the sport package. Why break it out with a separate code? It helped manage options that could not be ordered on the same vehicle, ie compatability checks.
Definitely no change in power with any of the sport packages.
Some differences existed (and still exist) in the US and CDN option packages.
