i was visiting West Virginia last month and while there a local newspaper had an article on ATV safety....West Virginia leads the nation in ATV deaths...40% of those occur on public paved roads....30% involve a passenger
The state of West Virginia has considered banning ATVs from public roads but has made no progress in the last 2 years...Those ATVs handle a whole lot different on paved roads especially if you leave the 4 wheel drive engaged while cornering
In my neighborhood here in texas teenagers tear around on those things at speeds greater than 40mph most of the time with no helmet....Those things should be banned from public roads
