Can't disagree with anything you've said. In fact, my wife has said pretty much the same thing and we're still going to drive it. We are just looking for the most comfortable (for us) and fun two person travel vehicle for long trips that can also haul two more people for 45 minutes to the city or airport.

But like the pic you posted, I wonder how it will work for my 5'2' wife-particularly rear visibility. And, I wonder about the transmission and steering (though the non active, which I prefer, seems to be getting better reviews than active) and I wonder how many compromises you make for a $70k car. It will be fun to see how a test drive answers these presumptive questions for all of us.
