Big Thanks Jochen! Recovered my crashed Range Rover MK3!

I really appreciate the help I received from Jochen and a member of bimmerboard in getting a fresh copy of the Range Rover software with modified spash screen. I had crashed my RR MK3 last week while trying to modify the splash screen, I unknowingly burned a copy of the firmware in mode 1 which cause the unit to crash during the software update. A member on bimmerboard sent me a copy of his old firmware he used on his RR MK3 with the splashscreen edited to a BMW roundel. Today I burned a good Mode 2/Form 1 copy and the RR MK3 started to load it and recover from it's crashed state. Also when this happened it helped me determine which wires I had crossed in my retrofit when I spliced the harness. The roundel came in red which meant I had inverted the Red and Blue wires out of the 3 RGB signals. I went back into my nav harness and corrected this error and I finally have all my color back in my screen! I am happy to say, a big thank you to this forum as my nav woes are resolved!

you can see in this pic that my red and blue is inverted

Red roundel

I pulled the screen and fixed the crossed wires, and now we are back to normal!
