The reason I want to change the OEM pad is I don't want to clean my wheels every day. The black dust is visable within a few miles after cleaning.
In addition I believe the oem pad do have some iron in the compound and I think this is the culprit that is causing rust stains and marks on the aluminum running boards from the dusting of the pads that some forum members are have been experiencing.
