I doubt it that it is a "bolt on" kit. You still have to cut the pipe between the resonator and the muffler. Bastuck will only replace the stock muffler (not the resonator) hence you need to cut the pipe in between.
The 4.8 kit should be simpler it is already twin pipe all the way. The 3.0 have two parts since you have the transition pipe (from the stock one pipe two two pipe) before going to the Bastuck muffler. That may explain why the 3.0 kit is more money than the 4.8 kit
