I have a birthday coming up and since the birth of our son I'm taking a lot of digital photos. My Olympus E10 is getting a little old and I need something faster which would make the 40D a HUGE upgrade.

The 30D looks nice but the extra pixels of the 40D really show up as in the sample photo taken from a review site. Look at that detail...Wow.
