That is a chicken with attitude. The amp was also on eBay and had I purchased it there I would have had some recourse. I actually felt better knowing the seller was a member here so I kind trusted things would be more than just a sale among strangers. If it were me and I believed the other persons claim I would offer to split the loss but that's me.
The reason I went used was to buy some time to research an aftermarket stereo. Now I'm just going to invest in a total system upgrade if I can convince the wife.
Life goes on and either way it's a lesson learned. I hope I'm surprised when I discuss a resolution with him.
