Anyone here go from the D40 to a D60? I already know you D40 guys are happy but the D60 adds a few extra gadgets and the VR lens. Here is the kicker though. You can get a ripping deal on a D40X right now just about everywhere and image quality I understand is the same.

No, no, no, no, please don't do that. The D40X and D60 are a waste of money. They offer no useful features that set them apart from my D40 unless you need to make massive prints. The D40 saves you quite a buck and takes beautiful shots in the process.
