We've got about 5500 IBM PCs at work, and 1000 Dell, give or take. About 50% are laptops. The one division who opted out of our corporate program for Thinkpads several years ago has had lots of problems, and will move back to Thinkpads now. I don't have any problem with Dell desktops, but the laptops just haven't stood up for us.

We haven't had any issues with the Lenovo change.

Surprised at your Toshiba experience, but perhaps it is the service organization and not the product. I have had great success with Toshiba laptops, but only the professional grade products, not the lighter-built home user laptops that I see around now. Satellite Pros were good. We considered them as being built similar to the old HP calculators, pretty much indestructible.
