Its just like cars...we all have our preference. The D70S and Rebel XT are both great cameras. If both were the same price, Im not sure which one I would have gone with...I went with Xt simply because it was several hundred dollars less than the Nikon. Both are about the same price normally, but Dell was offering a 25% off deal on it. I do not regret it at all. I alread have another 1500.00 invested in lenses and just seeing some of the pictures I have taken...I dont see the how the Nikon would be that much better.

Again...either one is a great camera. I went solely on price and do not regret it at all.
