So i got some extra ones sitting and i was bored so i thought i would try it again and guess what i figured it out. Sorry for the bad pics, used iphone!

Anyway, to do it without removing the needes, you will need to do the following:

- move the needles to 12 noon position
- insert the overlay at an angle and make the top side of the overlay hole sit underneath the center needle and then do the bottom part and it should slide right under.

super easy and would enhance the look of your cluster.
