I have to get 3rd row seats, so there won't be a spare. Really interested in going with non-RFT. What is a good backup plan for this scenario?

This thread talks alot about Dunlop vs. Bridgestone RFT.
Dunlop is quieter.
Dunlop has less tread.
But how about the safety/grip between the two brands?
