@ X5FX: Are you 100% sure about the A/C connection of the ventilated seats???

As far as I am informed, there is NO SUCH CONNECTION but the seats only suck the air underneath the seats (which is in average a bit cooler than the rest of the inside air due to cooler temperatures go to bottom) and ventilate them through the leather pores.
What underlines my idea is the point that there are ventilators in seats and backrest to push the air through, rather then a central ventilator behind the dashboard that is connected to the A/C.

Unfortunately wasn't able to find some further information here on the de.bmwfans.info page
nor I found my PDF-handbook

Maybe someone can doublecheck with owners manual handbook?

However, I tested the ventilation with a 535d and was very pleased. It helped me getting less knittering in shirts and trousers and also less "wet" in the back, yet without getting a cold or muscle pain. Just my opinion, however.
