Well, I guess if you start correcting people you kind of take the risk someone might just lop off the limb you're out on.
I said quicker than
MY 4.8is, which if you do a search on some the posts I have written talk about the fact that my E53 had detonation and significant power loss (due the constant retarding of ignition by the BMW service people), the handling was faulty due to sensors and a computer that was on drugs.
Hence after a long process and on the eve of litigation the dealership, BMW Australia and myself did a deal to trade it in for newer models...
As for the comparison between the two you have conducted, that's been debated at length and everyone has their own opinion.
Your opinion is respected.. extend the same courtesy hmmmm???
