I hate to lose the OE look and feel of the dashboard by installing an aftermarket double-din unit like an Eclipse or Z-2, but after becoming frustrated with the factory unit, it looks like this is the direction I'm headed. The Nav interface seems (in my humble opinion of course) to be very cumbersom, and using a knob to input data instead of a touch screen seems like too much hassle just to keep the stock look (which I do love.)

So, I'm wondering how much my Nav unit might fetch in the used market so I can factor that into the budget for the new setup. Mine has the cassett deck behind the screen, probably b/c the first owner opted for the 6 CD changed in the rear and didn't feel like doubling up on CD players. I want to install a Sirius kit, an iPod Kit, play movies in dash and in the headrests, play ipod videos, and easily search by artist, album and playlist using a touch screen. I also like the idea of Sirius Traffic integrated with the Navigation System. So far it looks like aftermarket units seem to have a very big advantage when it comes to doing all of this at once, which makes sense b/c that's their sole focus.
