Anyhow, Crevier has plenty of those "HEAT PROTECTION" rings in stock @ Crevier parts. Call up Teresa or Art in parts @ (714) 835-3171 or you could just run down to Savage and pick them yourself (heck they are only $8-9/piece) Snap them on and voila!
