However I strongly disagree on the idea of O'bama and/or Clinton would make us look any worse to the world. In fact I think quite the opposite is true. Just them being elected would be a positive statement to the world about our tollerance and growth as a nation. We are already looked at in such a negative light that either one or both of them would be a strong signal of potential change. Mccain on the other hand I think would be a sign of continuation of George and that would make the U.S. look worse initially.
Regardless of who wins the election, the world will wait and see what happens in the first 6 months to a year and make real judgement calls then.

Be careful of what element of change you ask for, we haven't had a terror attack in the US since 9/11 and Lord knows groups would have loved to hit us. And the essentials that put 9/11 together were left alone by 8 years of Bill Clinton.
