Thanxs. Still no definite confirmation on whether the pedals on the E53 and E70 are the same. BUT I did go on ACS and Hartge's website and found that the items numbers for the pedals for both cars are the exact same. I tried looking up other models to find a differing product number (thus different pedal size), but they all seem to be the same! (Which I initially assumed).

I'm curious though. I tried roughly measuring the pedal sizes with my tennis shoe when I went to the BMW Ultimate Drive event. THe X5 (E70)'s seemed to be shorter than the 535 wagon that I drove! I hope that method of measuring was just inaccurate. Otherwise, I can't understand why some pedals seem longer (while ACS/Hartge sell them with the same product number).
