I have a 2001 X5 ...with the new 10% "additives" ethanol etc my CEL comes on...I bought the reader/reset at discount auto parts....plugged in, found my "bank 1" too lean ....reset it, with no issue. the unit cost $49.00 cheaper than the gas to go to the Dealer and aggravation etc.
