When in fact it isn't true at all. The health care system in canada is great. The one thing you could always count on was to be covered for health care as a citizen, as long as you spent 6mths as a resident there. Some say the system doesnt allow for competition or Dr's don't make any money etc etc. Doesn't a doctor get into the business to save lives first and foremost? If he/she wants to make $, they can write a book, do research, lectures etc. if you're smart enough to be a doctor, you should be smart enough to find a way to make a good living for yourself.
