The shale is tight. Microdarcy permeability at best. That's like sucking a milkshake through a brick. Sure there's a lot of oil there but the flow rates are prohibitive for exploitation. That's like me giving you a million dollars but at one cent per day - you wouldn't be feeling very rich would you?
