Hello, I have a problem on my X5 e53 3.0 diesel. 2003
the diesel gauge meter on the dash says there is about 40 liters of diesel in the tank, but the tank is empty, so my wife ran out of diesel on the road, she said the tank was not empty, but it was a fault readout on the dashboard.
after re filling the tank, the reading is back to normal, and after a couple of times (2 months) the problem comes back again. anyone knowes what could be the problem ? bad connection ?
