Ah... you can only go so much with larger rims without the car looking like a "kalesa" (horse-drawn cart). Case in point... on the Right are the stock 60 series tire and rim from my Mustang, on the left the 45 series 'Upgrade'
When viewd on the car it was barely acceptable, any larger rim and thinner tire would have looked awfull. Daylight within the rims is just not cool.
With upgraded brakes - 13" discs and twin piston calipers it looks much better.
I can't understand those sport-compacts with 20" rims, thin tires and daylight visible in the rims - and drum brakes too!!!!
