Thanks for answer.

I installed an amp, an aux cable, updated the Nav to V31, played with all that and then screwed up the starting code and had to disconnect the battery for a while and then jumped the X. It just might have all been too much time with door and gate lights on. I did find that the starting code re-set procedure depends on full voltage.

Just glad it all works now and that the gas gauge, which dove to 0, is now creeping back to normal. It means nobody stole my gas
