I would have to disagree that Maryland is the most unfriendly to gun owners. California is pretty darned crazy. Example: If you missed the deadline to register your "assault weapon", for whatever reason, you cannot now register it. So someone who might have been out of the country, in a coma, or just didn't know about some obscure new gun law cannot now try to comply with the law. CA DOJ created a whole new class of felons.  |
