PersonaNonGrata is on a distinguished road
Good find but I would encourage anyone trying this to read the terms HERE. There is a $250 limit to cash back so to maximize that amount back the maximum purchase price, excluding shipping/insurance/etc. would be about $714. Also, if a seller uses a third party checkout then the deal does not work. There are other exclusions so read the terms! As with all of these deals it can get a little complicated.

I got a message in My eBay from eBay a few minutes after paying via PayPal. It announced that I have cash back. I am supposed to click on a button to go to a Microsoft site to register to get the money. The link does not work. I'm guessing it's getting hammered right now. I hope that is what it is.

I bought a fairly cheap item at $165 so I should get $57 back. It's something I wanted anyway and it's not a lot out of pocket should something go wrong and I'm left holding the proverbial bag. I took screenshots of each step showing the 35% off Cash Back token and the amount I'm due back, just in case.

*fingers crossed*
