Purchased sony cd-rw rewritable disc 1x-4x speed compatible disc, and wrote it on media with image burn at the slowest speed -- 1x . Then i verified the disc for errors ,there were none so i just went through the steps posted on one of the threads . Trunk left open, eject map disc, key to position 1 , insert os disc , wait 5-7 minutes and the navi succsesfully loaded..hope i was of help
