What, an electrical problem with a new E70 X5?? A transmission problem with a new E70 X5?? Well, most on our (great!) Board will say they have xx,xxx miles and no problems. There are A LOT of problems with the 07 and 08 E70s.

Hopefully BMW will have, yet another, software update in Sept. for the transmission problems. Sadly, the 7 Series and X3 have been getting software updates for 2+ years, and the transmissions are still bonkers! Sorry!

Just keep taking it to the dealer. They will eventually fix it, or you will acquire the needed amount of visits to Lemon Law it, or have BMW buy it back!
