I expected something like that as a response from their web site. My problem with the process is simple. If i had an issue with something Obama or McCain said or did i in all honesty would not accept anything less than an answer regarding my concerns from a live person and i would not let it rest until i got an answer of substantial measure that would either prove my point or have my thinking corrected. For me that would mean walking into a campaign office, pulling up a chair and getting someone to explain it until I'm satisfied one way or the other.
However I don't take part in the political process so what they say and do for the most part does not concern me as being important from the standpoint of their political posturing.
Having spent the last half a century seeing so much of it i honestly #1 find what they say amusing and #2 find it amusing that people actually listen to what they say and rest their decisions on their lip service.
I'm sure you have noticed that most of my 2 cents is wrapped up in questions regarding the conclusions people come to when so and so says this or that. Politicians will say anything to get elected. So when people rant about who said what, and they didn't keep their word, or they flip flopped, or they take issue with their character i honestly have to laugh.
I mean what do people expect. After all most people will agree at least to some degree the meaning of the word politician means "Fabrication engineer". That being the case why would anyone get their shorts in a wad over anything any of them said?
No matter how serious any of us take it it's all a show until the election is over. Then the real party starts. So far George W has provided the most entertainment i have seen in years. IMHO his show has been pathetic and sad.
