I thought folks were supposed to slow down to minimise fuel consumption in today's reality of high fuel prices.
The folks on this forum aren't saying that speed kills. It's simply when someone decides to drive recklessly, and then some other person pulls out in front of you doing 70mph. Many interstates in the US do not have good sightlines, especially for higher speeds. You could be perfectly fine doing 105mph and then around the next bend, someone pulls out and BAM!
No matter whose fault it is (in this case, yours for reckless driving), you all lose.
What was the point of sharing your story anyways?
