CGSTL is on a distinguished road
Frankly, I think race is an issue for less than 1% of the voting public. Not even a drop in the bucket. It's past behaviors and where the candidate says he'll take the country that really matters.

For all of the conservatives I've talked with, we've said we'd much rather have a conservative over a white guy. Conservative - black, white, man, woman - doesn't matter one bit.

To a conservative there's no interest in race because we are not trying to classify people based on race and create dependency on the government - therefore buying votes.

IMO, liberal policies and payouts to "victims" of all flavors has done very little for those who are in need. Liberal policies enable victimhood. Since we started all of these "compassionate" programs has any ghetto or inner city improved? Crime, schools, employment? NO.

Take a fresh look - conservative principles will enable those who have been purposefully dependent on the government (thanks to the democrats) to work themselves into a better life.

Since when do you see baby birds with safety nets? 99.9% of them learned to fly and thrive. Our social safety nets are simply carrying our developing youth out of the nest and placing them on the ground compassionately. And we're stuck feeding them forever. It's pathetic that we're ruining millions of potential successful lives just because we think it's compassionate.

We became a strong, self-reliant country before any of these socialist welfare came into play - now look at us - a bunch of little piglets suckling on the mother sow.
