Sounds pretty specific to me. It also seems to be a more realistic approach to both long term and short term relief at the pump. While Bush's and McCain's costal and ANWR drilling plan may slightly reduce our dependance on foreign oil, relief will not come in the near future.
Short term: go after speculators
Long term: 150b investment over 10 years in alternative energy solutions
I also think that McCain's $300m search for the best rechargable car battery was short sighted and limited because he did not consider other other energy sources. How about an incentive to figure out how to lay out the infrastructure and distribution for hydrogen fueling stations?
