Check your state law on ethanol. Most states do not require stores to post on the dispensor whether there is alcohol in the fuel. This was a result of the corn/ethanol lobby because a big percentage of people would not buy the fuel if it had alcohol in it and they used to post it on the dispensor. So they repealed the law and now most states don't require posting that there is alcohol in the fuel. Now the kicker is stores can change back and forth depending on cost so you don't know what's in the fuel. Bottom line if you burn ethanol you will get 10 to 20 percent less mileage depending on the time of year. As long as the fuel meets the octane requirments it is legal to do this. Now don't hold me to the 10 to 20 as I have read this several places but don't know the exact figure but do know it works out about that way.
