The GT-R appears to be a great numbers car, but I can't get past the looks and Nissan badge (at that price) and soccerjunky's Viper is bad ass, but I personally prefer the Vette...holy sh!t. Did I just say I would choose the Vette? Hell has frozen over.

and a 500lb weight advantage is a pretty significant advantage the ZR-1 has, so it should walk away around a track with ease- yet it's only marginally faster. Boils down to the chassis superiority of the GT-R. Like I said, wait for the V-Spec to come and clean up.
I can't get past the Cheby badge.
And teh GT-R is one fiiine lookin car imo really truly.
