Tryed the usual resets:

Battery disconnect, wait 10min, reconnect

Nav disconnect then reconnect

Make sure no map is in nav during bootup (as a test)

Try reloading OS SW, ensuring the disc you used is error free (measure it!)

Your problem has never happened to me, it looks like a sync issue.
You can see the BMW boot logo, but the screen is not syncing to the nav.
