Try reloading OS SW, ensuring the disc you used is error free (measure it!)
Your problem has never happened to me, it looks like a sync issue.
You can see the BMW boot logo, but the screen is not syncing to the nav.
Thanks, but the reset did not help.
If I put an OS disc into the Unit, it spins 2-3 secs, but then nothing happens.
It is the second time, when this problem happens.

The first time there was also a MONO MK4, at that time navcoder was not able to change the monitor format yet, so there was a modified OS disc, with colour navboot file in the mono (BMWM01S) folder. The result was the same: flickering image.

At this time, there was normal OS disc, the mk4 coded from mono to colour with navcoder. Before update the mk4 was frozen, was not responding to OS disc. After disconnect-reconnect the sw update started, the SW update screen and the process bar screen was displayed normally, at the end, the update is complete screen appeared, I removed the OS disc, pushed the right button. Then came the flickering image. Then the mk4 unit is not responding to navcoder or INPA any more. I think the loader part is damaged, because there are no menu screen, no response to menu button. The boot process stops at boot logo phase.

It is very strange, both units were MK4 Mono.
